Job Summary

Solutions Designer CRM

Overview

The Solutions Designer CRM is responsible for designing developing and supporting large-scale Siebel CRM solutions that align with business requirements enterprise architecture standards security policies and operational best practices. The role involves end-to-end solution design systems evaluation technical documentation and strategic CRM planning within the Ontario Public Service environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design hosting and CRM technology solutions based on business requirements architectural standards policies and cost models.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements I&IT mandates strategic plans technology standards and operational needs.
  • Develop solution architectures and provide recommendations for short-term and long-term CRM initiatives.
  • Plan migrate implement and sustain large and complex CRM development projects.
  • Evaluate existing CRM systems for performance capacity scalability and feasibility of enhancement or replacement.
  • Prepare technical specifications for installation integration testing deployment and performance validation.
  • Design secure scalable and highly available CRM environments.
  • Create and maintain solution designs architecture documents and technical specifications.
  • Conduct system performance assessments and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders project teams vendors and technical resources to deliver CRM solutions.

Required Experience

  • 10 years of experience designing and developing large complex Siebel CRM solutions.
  • 10 years of experience assessing system performance capacity scalability and technology modernization requirements.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Experience planning and delivering large-scale CRM implementation and migration projects.
  • Experience working in integrated multi-service enterprise CRM environments.
  • Proven ability to meet project deadlines and work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in Siebel CRM architecture and development.
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms operating systems deployment environments databases programming languages and communication protocols.
  • Understanding of infrastructure architecture directory services and messaging standards.
  • Experience with security backup recovery disaster recovery and high-availability solutions.
  • Ability to design scalable CRM solutions and evaluate emerging technologies.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes vendor engagement and cost models.

Methodologies & Documentation

  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMBOK.
  • Strong analytical and cost-benefit analysis capabilities.
  • Experience producing architecture documents solution blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.

Work Arrangement

  • Onsite role (5 days per week).
  • Standard work schedule: Monday to Friday 7.25 hours per day.
  • May support initiatives related to the Protect Ontario by Unleashing Our Economy Act 2025.

Mobile Device Management Experience supporting mobile device management for cellular devices and tablets across multiple platforms and operating systems. Desirable Skills Experience supporting Government of Ontario enterprise environments. Experience with enterprise modernization and cloud transformation initiatives. Familiarity with enterprise governance compliance frameworks and audit readiness programs. Experience mentoring and coaching junior DevOps and infrastructure resources. Strong understanding of operational resilience disaster recovery and enterprise monitoring strategies. Additional Information Strong hands-on DevOps cloud infrastructure automation CI/CD security and enterprise release management experience is mandatory for this role.
