Software Engineer

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining secure distributed and scalable software. You will work closely with other engineers developers and security architects to ensure compliance with best practices and standards as well as to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience

2-3 years of experience in designing and implementing scalable distributed systems and micro-services architecture in public cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP

Strong knowledge of API design principles event driven architecture fault-tolerant systems high availability leveraging load balancers database scaling CQRS pattern etc.

Proficient in advanced C and golang programming language concepts such as RAII golang concurrency models channels lock-free structures. Strong knowledge of domain-driven design(DDD) principles.

Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell Python Bash etc.

Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies such as CI/CD Git Jenkins Ansible etc.

Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as CPPUnit go unit testing etc.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Passion for learning new technologies and solving challenging problems

Preferred:

Familiarity with virtualization Kubernetes containers cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) and big data technologies. Industry experience through projects in applying machine learning to real-world challenges. Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and visualization tools.
