As a Software Developer Intern on the Genesys Cloud Analytics team you will work alongside experienced engineers building the cloud-based data services that power analytics across Genesys Cloud. Youll contribute to real development projects while gaining exposure to large-scale data processing distributed systems and AWS technologies.

Responsibilities/Job Duties

In this role the primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Work with team members to design develop and test features for the Genesys Cloud Analytics platform

• Contribute to services and data pipelines that process large volumes of customer interaction data

• Develop and test software using languages such as Java or Python

• Participate in code reviews and learn modern software engineering practices

• Gain exposure to AWS distributed systems data processing and CI/CD

• Understand and comply with HIPAA Security and Privacy Laws

• Adhere to Genesys Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

• Have fun

Required Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Data Engineering or a related technical discipline

• Programming experience through coursework projects or previous internships using Java Python or a similar language

• Foundational understanding of data structures algorithms and software development

• Interest in cloud computing data engineering analytics or distributed systems

• Strong problem-solving communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms

• Familiarity with SQL databases or data processing

• Exposure to technologies such as Spark Hadoop or Airflow

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidates experience qualifications skills and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
