NATURE AND SCOPE

We are a seeking a dynamic and dedicated instructor to teach Sociology courses within the department of Social Science and Commerce. Main responsibilities include teaching preparing grading evaluations and holding regular office hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Masters degree in Sociology

• Ability to teach a variety of courses within the discipline of Sociology
• Ability to teach a variety of methodology courses in the Social Science program
  • Intellectual Methods in Social Science
  • Qualitative Research and/or Quantitative Analysis
  • Integrative Project in Social Science

• Advanced knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative methodologies used in social science research as demonstrated by successful completion of a graduate-level course and/or research conducted as part of a Masters or Doctoral program is essential

• Excellent oral and written English communication skills are essential
• Teaching experience at the college level is an asset

• Strong oral and written French communication skills are an asset
