NATURE AND SCOPE
We are a seeking a dynamic and dedicated instructor to teach Sociology courses within the department of Social Science and Commerce. Main responsibilities include teaching preparing grading evaluations and holding regular office hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters degree in Sociology
- Ability to teach a variety of courses within the discipline of Sociology
- Ability to teach a variety of methodology courses in the Social Science program
- Intellectual Methods in Social Science
- Qualitative Research and/or Quantitative Analysis
- Integrative Project in Social Science
- Advanced knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative methodologies used in social science research as demonstrated by successful completion of a graduate-level course and/or research conducted as part of a Masters or Doctoral program is essential
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills are essential
- Teaching experience at the college level is an asset
- Strong oral and written French communication skills are an asset
