Role At a Glance Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in the construction industry AEC Developments is seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Superintendent to manage sites within the Southwestern Ontario area. Reporting to the VP of Construction theSite Superintendent will be the primary point of responsibility at your assigned construction site ensuring that projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating construction activities instilling a culture of health and safety on site and tracking project schedules to ensure progress is being made. This role involves client-facing interactions and maintaining positive relationships with subcontractors designers and regulatory you will doManage all on-site construction activities ensuring projects are completed on time and within with project managers architects engineers and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations ensuring a safe work environment for all team comprehensive project deliverables expertise to plan coordinate and execute tasks project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are being quality control inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet the project project related site documentation such as Daily Reports Safety Inspection photos orientation etcAddress unforeseen issues during construction including investigation of damage accidents or delays etc. and take appropriate with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with the building code and regulations. Research cost-saving methods and provide solutions to potential construction with various tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors or senior team members to support the overall success of the team and company a strong commitment to our company values of quality client focus teamwork sustainability and community integrating these principles into daily work practices and interactions with colleagues clients and you bring to the tableMinimum 5 years of construction supervision site management or related managing projects in the range of $5M to $ knowledge of safety regulations and OHSA guidelines including understanding of MOL regulations and company health and safety leadership team building communication and problem-solving understanding of construction methods the ability to anticipate constructability issues and provide solutions to keep project to manage multiple tasks prioritize workload and recommend process in Microsoft Office Suite and Procore construction management to work professionally with all levels of clientele from subcontractors to to perform physical construction tasks as Conditions:Candidates for this role can expect working conditions that require moderate physical effort or high-intensity effort for shorter job demands continuous mental visual and auditory attention often under moderate stress due to attention to detail and deadline pressures.
