Important Shift Requirement: This role involves rotational shifts including evening night and weekend support. Candidates must be comfortable working in 2nd and 3rd shifts (afternoon to midnight / midnight to morning) after initial training period (first 2 weeks will be standard day shift).
Role Overview: The Silicon Validation Technician will support silicon characterization and validation activities by operating test equipment collecting data assisting engineers and maintaining lab hardware. The role is hands-on and requires strong technical troubleshooting skills with ability to work independently during off-shift hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate ATE systems and evaluation boards for data collection
Assist in building assembling and maintaining board kits
Support data analysis and report preparation
Perform board-level hardware rework and modifications
Manage lab operations and hardware tracking
Ensure ESD and lab safety compliance
Key Requirements:
Diploma or equivalent technical qualification with 4 years experience
Strong soldering debugging and rework skills
PCB and board-level troubleshooting knowledge
Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscope DMM power supplies etc.)
Ability to work independently in lab environment
Good communication and documentation skills
