Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Maintains proper traffic flow within the yard
Yard count of equipment
Yard clean up - maintain GFLs standards pertaining to yard cleanliness
Update truck binders
Recover equipment as needed
Ensure safe operation and procedures are followed at all time
Promote a safety culture with all employees
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have a clean abstract cvor and criminal record
Previous shunting experience is an asset
Excellent communication skills
Planning and organizational skills
Ability to analyze and solve problems
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Mechanical knowledge is an asset
ELD knowledge
Must have excellent knowledge of Schedule 1
Perform inspection on tractor and trailers
Must have AZ licence
Must be time efficient and able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet all deadlines
Must be able to work flexible hours when required
