Shop Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate a multi-trade maintenance team in a fast-paced industrial environment. The successful candidate will supervise electricians plumbers drivers maintenance technicians and other skilled trades personnel ensuring safe efficient and reliable facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electricians plumbers drivers mechanics and other maintenance staff.

• Plan schedule and assign maintenance and repair work.

• Monitor team performance and ensure work is completed safely efficiently and on schedule.

• Conduct inspections of facilities equipment and systems to identify maintenance needs.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations company policies and industry standards.

• Coordinate with operations and management teams to minimize downtime and improve productivity.

• Manage preventive maintenance programs and maintain maintenance records.

• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical electrical plumbing and facility-related issues.

• Train mentor and evaluate maintenance personnel.

• Order and manage tools equipment and maintenance supplies as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within an industrial manufacturing construction or maintenance environment.

• Strong knowledge of building systems maintenance operations and multiple trades.

• Experience supervising electricians plumbers drivers mechanics or other skilled trades personnel.

• Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems is an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade certification or technical diploma is an asset.

• Experience in manufacturing food processing industrial plants or large facility operations.

• Valid drivers license.
