Job Summary

Description

The successful candidate will teach APRN 1110 Foundations of Land Code Governance in the First Nation Applied Lands Governance Program. Courses are delivered in a hybrid format with both in-person and online students and follows an intensive day-long format. Classes will be taught from the Kamloops campus of Thompson Rivers University.

Course details are as follows:
In class dates: Sept
Assignments due: Oct 4 2026
Grades due: Oct 16 2026

Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and be prepared to deliver classes at the Kamloops campus of Thompson Rivers University.

Requirements
  • An applicable Masters degree (required); a PhD is preferred
  • Community teaching research and/or service associations with Tkemlúps te Secwépemc or other Indigenous communities in Canada (required)
  • Documented experience in First-Nations land and/or resource issues (required)
  • Relevant post-secondary teaching experience with evidence of strong teaching skills is preferred
