Looking to build a career not just a job Our Apprentice program offers hands-on training and the opportunity to grow into a skilled Commercial Door door industry experience Perfect -wed rather train the right person. If you have a positive attitude a strong work ethic and basic experience with power tools we want to hear from alongside experienced technicians youll learn to install service and repair commercial doors dock equipment gate operators and access systems. With a strong backlog of work and continued growth now is a great time to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation service and repair of sectional rolling and high-speed door systems.S
- Support troubleshooting repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
- Maintain truck stock tools inventory and company vehicle.
- Complete accurate timekeeping job documentation and work orders.
- Interact professionally with customers contractors and team members.
- Develop problem-solving skills while supporting a variety of installation and service projects.
- Follow all safety policies procedures and company standards.
- Participate in training and ongoing development opportunities.
- Support the companys values goals and commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Experience in construction installation service or a skilled trade is an asset.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working at heights and performing physical work.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Working Conditions:
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Commercial industrial and construction environments.
- Working at heights using ladders and lift equipment.
- Physical work including lifting climbing and carrying materials.
