Job Summary

Trans Mountain Corporation operates Canadas only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 890000 barrels of petroleum products each day through a dual pipeline system of more than 1150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta British Columbia and Washington state.

Trans Mountain also operates a state-of-the-art loading facility Westridge Marine Terminal with three berths providing tidewater access to global markets.

As a federal Crown corporation Trans Mountain continues to build on more than 70 years of experience delivering operational and safety excellence through our crude oil pipeline system.

With our expanded pipeline system now in place Trans Mountain provides enhanced direct access for Canadian crude oil to world markets. The expansion realizes a world-class system for oil transport developed to Canadas high standards within one of the most stringent regulatory regimes in the world creating long-term economic benefits enhanced marine protection enhanced safety and emergency management capabilities and enhanced skilled-worker capacity building in communities and Indigenous groups.

Trans Mountain is seeking a collaborative motivated and values-driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Senior Talent Acquisition this role you will be part of a team responsible for building strong relationships with hiring leaders proactively sourcing candidates and owning the full cycle recruitment process to support the attraction and hiring of top talent across various disciplines to meet Trans Mountains critical hiring objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Professional Experience

  • Minimum of seven (7) years full-cycle recruitment experience
  • Experience in recruitment for major projects would be an asset.
  • Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources Business or related field is preferred.
  • Working towards the CPHR designation and/or Registered Professional Recruiter accreditation would be considered an asset.
  • Proven track record of having delivered on a large volume of recruiting within stringent timelines.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and develop a high level of trust with hiring leaders to execute and ensure timely delivery on hiring priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office programs and in various types of ATS. Knowledge of SuccessFactors and Smart Recruiter would be considered a strongasset.
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills resourcefulness and the ability to navigate and facilitate conversations and work collaboratively with others across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven analytical skills with strong reporting and record-keeping skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to attend to detail and accuracy and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner in a high-paced agile and multi-tasking environment.
