The Renal Senior System Analyst reports to the Renal Program Manager Informatics and Reporting and plays a key role in transforming healthcare data into actionable information that supports patient care program performance quality improvement and strategic decision-making.
The Senior System Analyst partners with clinical operational and administrative stakeholders to understand reporting and information needs and translate those requirements into effective data solutions. The role combines advanced technical expertise in clinical data management database development and SQL programming with strong analytical consultation and reporting capabilities.
Responsible for the development maintenance and optimization of database solutions the Senior System Analyst ensures the efficient storage security retrieval and reporting of clinical and operational data. The position supports the design and delivery of reporting and analytics products that enable evidence-informed decision-making across the Renal Program and the broader health system.
This position requires exceptional attention to detail strong problem-solving and analytical skills and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities and responding to urgent requests with short turnaround times.

- Degree or diploma in an Information Technology Computer Science Business Analysis or Health Related discipline.
- Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Technology Business Analysis or Health Related field
- Including 2 years experience in application programming systems analysis business analysis or systems support.
- Strong proficiency in SQL programming ability to write stored procedures and advanced SQL queries with emphasis on efficiency for high volume reports
- Experience Framework software development
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring accuracy in SQL queries data integrity privacy and security
- Experience with healthcare data information systems and terminology an asset
- Experience developing reports dashboards and analytical solutions.
- Familiarity with backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies
- Competencies in other languages an asset French preferred

Hourly Rate: $45.75 - $56.04
Annual Salary: $89213 - $109278
