About the Opportunity
Design build and maintain custom business applications and enterprise integrations that support operations across the organization
Lead the technical design and development of scalable secure and maintainable software solutions
Serve as the technical escalation point for complex production issues spanning multiple applications integrations and vendors
Modernize legacy applications while ensuring stability and reliability for operational teams
Establish and champion development standards code quality testing practices documentation and secure software development
Mentor and support software developers through technical leadership code reviews design discussions and knowledge sharing
Collaborate with operational leaders and business stakeholders to translate workflow needs into practical technical solutions
Contribute to architecture decisions technical roadmaps and build-versus-buy evaluations for enterprise applications and integrations
About You
In addition to placing high value on collaboration accountability and continuous improvement you bring:
10 years of professional software development experience including several years operating at a senior technical level
Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong experience developing enterprise applications using modern server-side technologies such as C#/.NET Java PHP or Python
Proven experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and enterprise system integrations
Strong SQL and relational database design skills including query optimization and data modeling
Experience working with Microsoft Azure AWS or another cloud platform
Knowledge of secure software development practices CI/CD pipelines automated testing and Git-based development workflows
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Asset Qualifications:
Experience supporting healthcare seniors living or other 24/7 operational environments
Experience integrating hospitality workforce management or clinical applications
Experience with e-commerce or online payment technologies
