Job Summary
We are currently hiring for a Senior Project Manager Procurement System Modernization role with the Government of Alberta.
Location: Alberta Canada (Remote)
Duration: Contract Opportunity
- Lead large-scale IT and business transformation projects.
- Manage Procurement projects covering:
- Source-to-Contract
- Procure-to-Pay
- Contract-to-Pay processes
- Oversee project planning budgeting scheduling risk management and stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate project teams vendors business users and executive leadership.
- Prepare project status reports and presentations for senior executives and steering committees.
- Manage project resources timelines budgets risks and deliverables.
- Ensure successful delivery of ERP Procurement HRIS and Financial System initiatives.
- Support change management communication and business process improvements.
- Strong Project Management experience in large enterprise environments.
- Experience leading Procurement System implementations or modernization projects.
- Experience with HRIS projects in the Public Sector.
- Experience with Budgeting & Forecasting systems preferably in SAP environments.
- Experience presenting project updates to executive and ministerial-level stakeholders.
- Strong skills in project planning governance stakeholder management and risk management.
- Public Sector or Government project experience.
- ERP transformation and modernization projects.
- SAP-related project experience.
- Standard working hours: 8:15 AM 4:30 PM (Alberta Time).
- Work must be performed within Canada.
- Background check required.
- Mandatory Government security and privacy training upon onboarding.
