Location: Toronto ON (Hybrid 2 Days Onsite)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with expertise in Big Data AWS Cloud Data Warehousing and ETL to support data platform modernization and cloud migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and support scalable data pipelines.
Lead On-Prem to AWS cloud migration projects.
Develop ETL/ELT processes using SSIS or similar tools.
Build and manage workflows using Airflow Kafka and Spark Streaming.
Perform data ingestion transformation validation and SQL optimization.
Monitor production platforms and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

AWS: EMR EC2 S3 Redshift Glue Airflow IAM CloudWatch.
Databases: Netezza (Mandatory) SQL Server PostgreSQL Teradata.
ETL: SSIS.
Programming: SQL Shell Scripting (Python is a plus).
Unix/Linux.

Preferred

Hadoop Data Warehousing ETL design DevOps/CI-CD.
Banking/Financial Services experience.
Ansible Git JIRA HBase MongoDB data masking/security.
