Your Role in Building What Matters - From Office to Site
Lead project accounting operations across a portfolio of infrastructure projects ensuring accurate financial reporting month-end close activities billing costing and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Partner with project and operations leadership to provide financial analysis budgets forecasts cash flow projections and performance insights that support informed business decisions
Manage and develop a team of Operations Accountants providing guidance oversight and support to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality accounting services
Drive financial governance by maintaining strong internal controls supporting audits ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance and identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems
Act as a trusted advisor to business unit leadership collaborating with project teams on contract administration cash management commercial matters and financial strategy across complex infrastructure projects
The Right Tools for the Job
Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Commerce Business Accounting or a related field combined with a CPA designation and 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience including 2 years leading finance or accounting teams
Technical Skills: Strong expertise in project accounting financial reporting budgeting forecasting billing cost accounting and financial analysis with the ability to provide meaningful insights that support operational decision-making
Core Competency: Advanced proficiency in Excel ERP systems (SAP preferred) and financial management systems coupled with strong analytical communication and stakeholder management skills. Construction engineering or heavy industrial industry experience is considered an asset
