Senior Financial Analyst Manufacturing & Consolidation Location: Markham ON Onsite 5 days
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support manufacturing operations financial reporting and consolidation activities across multiple business divisions. This role will partner closely with Finance and Operations teams to deliver accurate financial insights strengthen reporting processes and drive profitability through data-driven decision-making.
What you will be doing
Support divisional finance teams with part costing Bill of Materials (BOM) maintenance and program launches
Enhance and standardize financial processes within SAP
Develop and implement KPIs to improve production reporting and financial visibility
Provide costing analysis and financial support for new and existing programs
Support monthly and quarterly close consolidation and reporting activities
Review divisional financial packages investigate variances and ensure reporting accuracy
Reconcile intercompany balances and support audit requirements
Strengthen financial controls and develop reporting tools that provide meaningful business insights
Assist with budgeting forecasting and executive reporting
Analyze actual versus budget and forecast performance identifying key business drivers
Support profitability initiatives related to margins freight scrap overtime and operational costs
Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Monitor key performance metrics including inventory accounts receivable accounts payable and profitability
Partner with Operations and Plant Leadership to improve financial performance and cost control
Support working capital optimization and inventory management initiatives
Must haves:
Degree in Finance Accounting or a related discipline
3 years of experience in FP&A Financial Analysis or Accounting
Strong SAP experience including exposure to BOM structures and product costing
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication abilities
