Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer

Note: Prior experience in BFSI Public Sector or Telecom is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with a strong background in BFSI Public Sector or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will lead cloud engineering initiatives and support enterprise transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud engineering initiatives across BFSI Public Sector and Telecom environments.
• Support cloud modernization initiatives for core banking payments citizen services OSS/BSS platforms billing systems and telecom customer platforms.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting telecom network operations 5G platforms and edge computing environments.
• Provide technical leadership for enterprise cloud transformation programs.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams supporting banking government and telecom operations.
• Implement cloud security governance compliance and operational controls.
• Mentor junior engineers and support cloud engineering best practices.
• Drive automation monitoring disaster recovery and operational resilience initiatives.
• Optimize cloud performance scalability and cost management.
• Ensure cloud environments meet regulatory privacy and security requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer within BFSI Public Sector or Telecom environments is required.
• Experience supporting cloud platforms for banking systems government applications OSS/BSS billing charging or telecom customer platforms.
• Experience leading cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Azure AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of governance compliance regulatory and security requirements.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong leadership mentoring and stakeholder management skills.
• Cloud certification preferred.
