Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer to design develop implement and support enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) Generative AI and Conversational AI solutions. The successful candidate will build AI-powered customer service solutions including AI Agents virtual assistants voicebots and conversational IVR applications using Amazon Connect Amazon Bedrock Amazon Lex Large Language Models (LLMs) Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AWS cloud services. This role requires close collaboration with architects business analysts and business stakeholders to deliver scalable secure and high-performing AI solutions for large enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop implement and support AI Generative AI Conversational AI and Agentic AI solutions.
- Build AI-powered conversational IVR systems virtual assistants voicebots AI Agents and self-service solutions using Amazon Connect Customer AI Agents Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Lex.
- Develop AI Agents leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Model Context Protocol (MCP) tool-calling frameworks and enterprise knowledge repositories.
- Design and optimize prompts prompt templates orchestration logic AI guardrails and grounding strategies to improve response quality and minimize hallucinations.
- Configure and develop Amazon Lex bots including intents slots fulfillment logic conversational workflows and escalation mechanisms.
- Integrate AI solutions with contact centre platforms enterprise applications REST APIs workflow systems cloud services and knowledge repositories.
- Develop serverless applications microservices event-driven solutions and enterprise integrations using AWS services.
- Prepare technical designs implementation documentation deployment procedures and operational support documentation.
- Participate in solution testing deployment production support troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with security privacy accessibility governance and Responsible AI standards.
Required Technical Skills
Artificial Intelligence & Generative AI
- 5 years of experience developing AI and Machine Learning solutions.
- Hands-on experience implementing enterprise Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
- Experience developing AI Agents using OpenAI GPT Anthropic Claude Google Gemini Meta Llama or equivalent foundation models.
- Strong experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) prompt engineering vector databases semantic search AI guardrails and Responsible AI practices.
- Experience evaluating AI models optimizing prompts monitoring AI performance and improving conversational quality.
Amazon Connect & Conversational AI
- 5 years of experience implementing Amazon Connect contact centre solutions.
- Experience developing Amazon Connect Customer AI Agents.
- Extensive experience with Amazon Bedrock integration.
- Experience building conversational IVR virtual assistants voicebots and customer self-service solutions.
- Experience developing Amazon Lex bots including intents slots utterances fulfillment logic and conversational workflows.
- Experience with Contact Lens Contact Trace Records (CTR) reporting analytics routing logic and customer journey design.
