What Youll Do
As Senior Accountant you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions for multiple clients. Specifically you will help our clients by:
- Completing bank and credit card reconciliations;
- Maintaining the general ledger for A/R A/P fixed assets payroll etc;.
- Preparing calculating and filing GST PST T4s T5s and ROEs;
- Managing the end-to-end payroll process;
- Responsible for month-end close; and
- Supporting year-end compliance.
In addition to the responsibilities above youll build trusted relationships with your clients by providing timely responsive and high-quality service. If you enjoy helping clients succeed and take pride in delivering an exceptional client experience youll thrive in this role.
What Youll Bring
- 5 years of accounting experience.
- Bachelors in Business Administration/Commerce (accounting major) or a Diploma in Accounting.
- Can work independently demonstrate accountability and deliver expected results.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working with multiple clients considered an asset.
- Comfortable working with financial technology; enjoys embracing new systems and digital tools that enhance efficiency and the client experience.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
