Semi-Driver

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Semi Driver on a permanent full-time basis for our Transportation Operations team. This position requires on-site work and is based in Edmonton Alberta.

Hours of work: Sunday to Thursday 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m.

What youll do:

• Operate a semi-truck and/or body job unit which may include rural and city deliveries city pickups and spotting of trailers.
• Prepare trailers for deliveries including cleaning interiors and fuelling reefers.
• Perform minor mechanical work on trucks semi-trailers and reefers when required.
• Perform truck and trailer inspections and report on condition of equipment.
• Other duties as required.

Who youll work with:
You will work closely with other transportation professionals and will demonstrate customer focus by ensuring deliveries are made in a safe and efficient manner.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

• Have a grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Have a Class 1 license with a minimum of 6 months experience.
• Can pass an in-cab evaluation by a qualified Transportation Supervisor.
