Topa is looking for motivated Security Personnel to join our team in the Lanigan Area.

Position Title: Security Personnel (Full-Time)

Location: Aspen Power Plant

Start Date:Immediate

Closing:Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired

Responsibilities:

• Manage access cards through the security computer system
• Camera Surveillance
• Monitor the telephone transferring calls and using the paging system
• Complete weekly fire alarm testing
• Complete weekly inventory and unit checks
• Monitor access gates and parking lots
• Greet customer and register visitors as needed
• Provide basic first aid
• Ensure the protection of people assets and property
• Conduct preventive surveillance rounds according to established procedures
• Provide impeccable customer service
• Prevent fire theft and vandalism
• Enforce the regulations in effect at the premises
• Write daily reports and incident reports

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Security Guard License
• First Aid level C with AED
• Professional deportment
• Proactive attention to detail self-motivated and team player
• Above average written oral communication and computer skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Drivers license and access to a vehicle
• Previous experience in security (asset)
  

Safety:

• Attend and participate in the following exercises:
• Safety meetings
• Tool box talks
• Site inspections
• Complete FLRAs
