Security Guard Richmond

Commissionaires BC is currently looking for a security guard to work at our City of Richmond site.

Position days and hours: Saturday & Sunday 2300 - 0700
Payrate: $25.55/hr

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers answering questions and providing solutions by acting as a liaison between the site and the general public.
• Meet and greet high profile visitors providing a superior level of service.
• Keep site clean tidy and a safe environment for all.
• Interior and exterior patrols.
• Access Control and visitor verification.
• Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols.
• CCTV monitoring.
• Checkpoint Tours.

• Valid BC Security Licence
• Basic First Aid Certificate

• Able to de-escalate any situations as needed
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and equipment such as faxes and photocopiers
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
• Strong multi-tasking prioritizing and organizational skills
• Physically able to perform assigned duties including the ability to conduct extensive foot patrols
• Fluent English written verbal and reading skills
