Security Guard FT Innisfil

We are seeking a dependable and highly self-motivated Security Guard to protect an abandoned restricted-access site consisting of multiple buildings and surrounding grounds minutes from Barrie. This position requires the ability to work independently conduct routine patrols and prevent unauthorized access to secured property.

The ideal candidate is alert disciplined and comfortable working alone in a low-occupancy high-responsibility environment.

Schedule: Continental schedule - 14:00 - 02:00 including alternate weekends

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $18.35/hour

• Isolated setting with limited public presence

• Conduct scheduled and random foot patrols across multiple buildings and exterior areas
• Monitor for trespassing vandalism theft or other unauthorized activity
• Enforce no-trespassing policies and secure restricted areas
• Perform building checks perimeter inspections and access point verification
• Identify and report safety hazards structural issues or suspicious activity
• Respond appropriately to alarms or disturbances
• Maintain accurate patrol logs and incident reports
• Communicate with supervisors or law enforcement as required
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• First aid certification required
• Strong report writing skills
• Ability to workalone with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation to a remote or limited-access site
• Dependable punctual and professional demeanor
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk throughoutshift
