Security Dispatcher

POSITION SUMMARY

The Global Security Dispatcher plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of personnel facilities and assets. This position is responsible for receiving and dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls monitoring security systems coordinating responses to incidents and acting as a liaison with internal teams and external emergency services. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Mississauga ON

Shift:Rotational shift work (Days and Nights)

PayRate: $25.75/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive assess and dispatch emergency and non-emergency calls in a timely and professional manner.

• Dispatch security personnel and guards to respond to alarms incidents and service requests.

• Monitor CCTV systems to detect document and report security incidents or suspicious activity.

• Conduct regular CCTV audits to ensure system functionality compliance and coverage.

• Monitor alarms and security events using the OnGuard system and initiate appropriate response protocols.

• Perform access control duties including managing credentials monitoring access points and logging commercial vehicle entries.

• Maintain accurate logs reports and incident documentation in accordance with company policies.

• Liaise with external emergency services (police fire ambulance) during incidents and coordinate on-site response efforts.

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders including security supervisors management and operational teams.

• Follow established security procedures escalation protocols and confidentiality standards at all times.

• Other duties as assigned

• Control room / operations center environment

• Prolonged periods of monitoring screens and systems

• Shift work may be required
