Job Summary

Air Distribution Sales RepAbout the PositionThe Air Distribution Salesperson is responsible for managing the profitability of his/her respective projects. They are fully accountable for their sales team regularly reviewing and distributing tasks effectively with staff skill sets. The position also consists of providing technical experienced support for quoting preparing proposals for submission processing orders tracking orders and trouble shooting. Good communication skills self-motivation and a desire to learn will be required. Flexibility in dealing with changing priorities and the ability to reliably respond in a timely manner. Principal TasksNegotiate and land work. Have job market feedback to Estimating team on bids and pricing. Include workload forecasting as projects are being design assistance to engineers on product selection and lay out all purchase orders bid documents to optimize profitability. Ask for IFC PBY file for Project Coordinator/Sales Support to issue submittalsCreate Submittals in absence of Project Manager/Project Coordinator/Sales in Technical Submittals for Project Coordinator/Sales SupportProcess Orders from Customer List in absence of Project Coordinator/Sales Support after receipt of approved submittalsManage and process Change Orders and Site Instructions which include pricingResolve w/ Customer or Site Contact for discrepancies on orders for Project Coordinator/Sales SupportClose out projects once complete fully invoiced and maintenance documentation submittedAble to provide Quoted for jobs not listed on the bid boards including email requestsEnter Quotes in the ERP with proper association to product codes as illustrated in the Branchs HandbookTrain Staff in all phases of the sales process to ensure the continuation of expected service levelsProvide outstanding customer service with a Customer First approach to businessConsistently improve the quality of our service to meet clients expectations and to minimize costs and maximize the companys competitive adequate service levels and have a review study to determine cause effect and corrective actions required to hold your team members -educate and attend manufacturers factory / training visits to ensure you are constantly up to date on the latest product developments and software tools. (Some travel will be involved when we are able to safely do so)Maintain and build sustainable customer relationships and trust with customers account through open communicationRepresent EH Price Solutions at site meetings as on contractors to promote represented HVAC products and equipment and discuss existing and future opportunitiesAssist in all customer events as required. These could be open houses sporting events factory visits lunches etc. Perform other duties assigned by your 5 years experience in a mechanical engineering environment.
