Job Description:
What will you work on
Reporting to the Senior Manager Global Royalty Management we are seeking a highly organized detail-oriented and proactive Royalties Coordinator to support the day-to-day operational and administrative activities of our Corporate Global Royalties team.
How will you create impact
- Review all new Royalty contracts and prepare/route required Payment requests.
- Create new/change vendor requests as needed.
- Determine the applicable withholding tax to apply to each payment
- Route all Royalty statements for approval and send approved payment requests to Accounts Payable for processing.
- Send all US01 Payment requests with Withholding tax to Tax department
- Create PDF/Excel versions of quarterly statements and send them out to Licensors.
- Complete and return quarterly Licensor templates.
- Update quarterly Payment Summaries for tracking of status of Royalty statements.
- Respond to all enquiries to the Departmental Royalty Inbox.
- Follow up on outstanding approvals to ensure payments are made by the required due date.
- Respond to all enquiries from Accounts Payable
- Preparation of Inventor and Licensor Royalty Statements
What are your skills and experience
- Strong computer literacy and Excel skills (pivots v-lookups) and working knowledge of SAP are required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and act with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong self-initiative to operate independently.
- Creative problem solving to business issues and is motivated by seeking process improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of people at different levels within the organization

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $25 to $30 per hour. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job years of experience within the required industry education etc. Spin Master ltd. is a multi-provincial employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other provinces.
