Rock Truck Operator

Essential Responsibilities

• Safely operate 40T rock trucks in accordance with project requirements and Ledcor safety standards

• Haul soil gravel and other materials throughout the project site

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections

• Report mechanical issues and unsafe conditions promptly

• Follow haul road rules site traffic plans and radio communication protocols

• Work closely with supervisors excavator operators dozer operators and grade crews

• Adhere to all Ledcor and project safety policies procedures and site requirements

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience operating articulated trucks in a construction mining or earthworks environment

• Strong understanding of safe hauling loading dumping and traffic management practices

• Strong commitment to workplace safety

• Valid Class 5 drivers license

• Must be available for day / night shifts

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing

• CSTS 09 Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation (BSO)

Work Conditions

• 14 days on and 7 days off working 12 hours per day
