SGA is currently seeking an experienced Robotics Engineer with a passion for automation and a desire to advance their career. We have multiple openings across North America offering the opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a dynamic team-oriented environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Promote and comply with all safety standards
- Collaborate effectively with customers contractors and project stakeholders
- Support electrical and software design as needed
- Configure interference zones I/O and vision systems
- Perform robot setup including mastering TCP payload and offline programs
- Troubleshoot and debug PLCs in coordination with the Controls Engineer
- Optimize cycle times and improve throughput
- Work with Fanuc robots (required); experience with ABB KUKA Kawasaki and Nachi is an asset
- Apply experience in material handling spot welding MIG welding and sealing/dispensing
- Utilize DCS Safe Op and Safe Move functions
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM
- 25 years of experience as a Robotics Engineer
- Bachelors Degree in a related engineering or programming field
- Strong knowledge of robotic systems integration
- Preferred knowledge of PLC controls systems
- Previous experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry
- Extensive commissioning experience
- Ability to travel to customer sites across North America
- Valid passport and drivers license
- Eligibility for a Work Permit
