Rescue Technician – Long-Term Opportunity

The Rescue Teams areprimarily accountable for planning and providing industrial technical rescue standby fire prevention instructionand or medical response to clients of The Total Group of Companies.

• Assist with developing and reviewing site-specific rescue plans.

• Support rescue operations drills equipment setup and inspections.

• Monitor work areas and help maintain a safe site.

• Work closely with the rescue team site personnel and other contractors.

• Communicate clearly and contribute to a positive team-focused work environment.

• Confined Space Rescue

• Confined Space Entry

• Fall Protection

• Standard First Aid with CPR/AED

• WHMIS 2015

• CSTS 2020

• Valid Class 5 Drivers License

• Rope Rescue or High-Angle Rescue certification

• NFPA 1006 Technical Rescue certification

• Firefighter training or industrial rescue experience

• Minimum 18 years of age.

• Authorized to work in Canada and possess a valid SIN.

• Hold a valid drivers license and own a reliable vehicle.

• Be able to produce a clean or satisfactory Drivers Abstract.
