As a Floating RVT across our Calgary and area practices you will critically support teams during high demand vacation coverage and leaves ensuring continuity of care for patients and seamless operations for our practices. With a minimum of 24 hours per week benefits eligibility and paid mileage the successful RVT candidate can happily move between multiple locations in Calgary and area.

Is This Role Right For You

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets being respectful in all interactions and providing exceptional customer service. The RVT also assists the Veterinarian with medical surgical and dental procedures by using a range of diagnostic equipment preparing patients instruments and equipment for surgery; and administering and monitoring medicines under the direction of a Veterinarian.

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write the VTNE be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association and successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program. Moreover our ideal RVT candidate will be willing to work at multiple VetCare specific clinics to cover other clinics sick/coverage leave.
