Brightisle is seeking aRegional Managertoprovide leadership coaching and oversight across assigned homes. Reporting toa Regional Director this role plays a key part in creating safe stable andnurturing home environments where children youth and staff can thrive.
About the Role
Based primarily within assigned homes the Regional Managerleads and supports teams of Child and Youth Care Workers (CYCWs) ensuringhigh-quality trauma-informed care while fostering strong reflective andcollaborative teams. Guided by theCARE: Creating Conditions for Changeframeworkthis role places relationships connection and engagement at the heart ofeverything we do.
What Youll Do
- Lead coach and support unionized CYCW teams using a reflective values-aligned supervision approach
- Based out of assigned homes to be able to focus on hands on mentoring and role modeling CARE principles and trauma-informed practice
- Ensure effective 24/7 operations across assigned homes
- Partner with program teams to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accountability for documentation incident follow-up inspections and quality assurance requirements
- Manage home budgets and review overtime requests
- Serve as the primary contact for CYS and community partners
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support staff outside regular business hours
- Build strong relationships with families stakeholders and community partners
- Help identify and remove barriers to culturally safe effective care
What You Bring
- At least2 years of experience leading or supervising teamsin child and youth care or similar care environments
- Demonstrates strong people leadership with a clear focus on performance management accountability and role modelling best practice
- Strong relationship-building communication and coaching skills
- A trauma-informed developmentally focused approach
- Proven ability to manage time priorities and competing demands
- Experience managing budgets and operational accountability
- Completion of a college diploma or university degree in a social servicerelated field is considered an asset
- Strong written English skills and comfort using Microsoft Office and digital tools
- Valid drivers license and ability to meet screening requirements
