Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot maintain repair and service industrial refrigeration systems and related mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical electrical and control system issues to ensure maximum equipment reliability.
• Inspect maintain and service gas-fired equipment including boilers heaters and associated systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and participate in a scheduled on-call rotation as required.
• Support equipment commissioning system upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers and internal technical teams to maximize system performance and minimize downtime.
• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations industry standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic Licence.
• G1 Gas Technician Licence preferred (G2 will also be considered).
• Strong experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial refrigeration systems in manufacturing or process environments.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience is considered a strong asset.
• Solid mechanical electrical and control systems troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics piping diagrams and technical drawings.
• Valid Ontario drivers licence with a clean driving abstract.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the maintenance team.
