We offer a competitive salary learning opportunities and a range of Position:Neelands Group Limited is searching for aRefrigeration Construction Foreman to join our team at the Burlington Ontario location. This is a regular full-time union position with a full union compensation package. The Refrigeration Construction Foreman will report to the Construction Manager and will provide field staff with technical support helping to ensure a smooth turnover from the construction phase to service. Responsibilities:Lead a team of refrigeration technicians and apprentices ensuring proper training guidance and safety standards on job sites ensuring adherence to company safety policies and Ontario regulationsCarefully read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper specifications are being followedAccurately measure and layout plan for installationAssemble and install refrigeration systems cold storage units refrigeration piping and related componentsEnsure the necessary materials required for the project are on hand and readily availableMaintain regular communication with project managers providing updates on the status of the projectOther duties as assignedQualifications:Licensed 313A mechanic Minimum 7 years of refrigeration installation experience with 2 years as a foreman Experience with supermarket refrigeration is considered an assetCO2 system installation experience is considered an asset Experience with control systemsElectrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of TSSA regulations and proceduresValid G drivers license with a clean drivers abstract Ability to travel when requiredWhat you Bring to the Team:A self-starter who is highly effective working independently and within a teamFlexibility along with the ability to operate well under pressureStrong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to perform in a high pressure fast-paced environmentA keen attention to detailA positive hands-on can-do attitudeNeelands Group Limited is committed to providing accessible employment practices that comply with Accessibility standards and regulations.
