Job Summary

As a Bilingual Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for employees clients visitors and guests. You will provide professional reception and workplace support.

We are currently seeking a professional friendly and service-oriented Receptionist to join our team in Ottawa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist employees clients visitors and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls and respond to inquiries in both official languages.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and courier services including collection sorting dispatch and distribution.
  • Support pantry service delivery and ensure pantry areas are organized and adequately stocked.
  • Manage office supplies including monitoring inventory placing orders receiving deliveries and maintaining organized storage.
  • Support meeting room management including coordinating room bookings preparing meeting rooms and ensuring spaces are ready for meetings and events.
  • Respond to general workplace service requests and provide administrative support as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures policies and service standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the client and internal teams to ensure a seamless workplace experience.
  • Maintain a professional reception area and a high standard of customer service at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive or employee information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in reception customer service office administration or a related position.
  • Fluency in both English and French written and verbal is required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional welcoming and approachable personality.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients visitors and internal teams.
  • Previous experience in a corporate office facilities management or professional services environment is an asset.
