The incumbent will work with production management to provide feedback regarding the accuracy of procedures while delivering the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Youll Be Doing:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESTechnical Examine products and materials for defects or deviations from manufacturer or industry specifications. Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines laser tracker portable measuring arms by using Pc-dmis and Polyworks softwareWork with Quality Engineers and Quality Manager to determine best practices to control quality on the manufacturing/assembly floorInspect welded joints for visible defects correct dimensions bead formation and conformance with drawing specification. Examine joints to detect flaws such as cracks cold weld spatter and reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing data; making recommendationsEngage in proactive measures such as developing and implementing continuous improvement programs covering production processes and quality management systemsWork with members of the supply chain to ensure the quality of raw materials components or sub-assemblies and supporting documentation meets Eclipses quality standardsDrive Zero Defect mentality within the incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materialsDocument inspection results by completing reports and logs; inputting data into quality databaseMonitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibrationMaintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulationsMaintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate mannerAssist in the writing and updating inspection procedures protocol and checklistsEvaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective actionProject ExecutionWork requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to balance priorities and work under short timelinesAdhere to all Health and Safety rules and proceduresAbility to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings safelyComplete other duties and projects as assignedEnsure scheduled milestones are metNotify the appropriate departments if milestones are not metAdhere to the Eclipse Project Operating PolicyMaintain good corporate citizen role in support of the Eclipse corporate VisionEnsure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc.
