Quality Coordinator, Electrical
Job Summary
This position is located in Chalk River Ontario
Develop and maintain Construction Inspection and Test Plans (CITPs).
Ensure applicable codes standards specifications and contract requirements are incorporated into quality plans.
Review drawings specifications shop drawings testing procedures commissioning documentation and quality records.
Coordinate inspections testing activities and quality documentation for electrical installations.
Support Non-Conformance Report (NCR) management and corrective actions.
Monitor and verify electrical installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project requirements.
Work with construction engineering subcontractors inspectors and commissioning teams to ensure quality requirements are achieved.
Assist with audits surveillance activities turnover packages and system completion documentation.
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Electrical Engineering Technology Engineering Technology or a related discipline.
3 years of QA/QC experience in electrical construction within industrial infrastructure power or nuclear projects.
Strong knowledge of:
Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
CSA electrical standards
CSA N299 / N286 considered an asset
Experience with ITPs/CITPs NCR management and construction quality documentation.
Knowledge of electrical testing inspection turnover and commissioning processes.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings schematics and specifications.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Security Clearance Requirement
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Reliability Status or Site Access Security Clearance.
