Key Responsibilities
- Develop implement and maintain quality assurance policies procedures and standards
- Conduct quality inspections audits and testing to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
- Identify quality issues investigate root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Document and report quality findings trends and performance metrics
- Collaborate with production operations engineering or service teams to improve processes
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory safety and industry standards (e.g. ISO GMP SOPs)
- Support internal and external audits and assist with audit preparation and follow-ups
- Train employees on quality standards procedures and best practices
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality improvement projects
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation and records
- Diploma or degree in Quality Assurance Engineering or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in a QA role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as 8D FMEA SPC and root cause analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and investigative skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret technical documents specifications and procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with ERP and quality management systems (e.g. SAP QMS software) is an asset
- $60000 - $70000 / year
