Job Summary

QA Tester

Toronto ON

Hybrid (2 days per week in-person at Toronto office preferred)

Experience Required: 8-10 Years overall

Skills Domain: Git/ Bitbucket/ Maven/ Jira/ SDLC.

Must Have :

24 years of experience in software quality assurance.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies SDLC and Agile processes.

Experience testing web applications across multiple browsers.

Familiarity with defect management tools such as JIRA Azure DevOps or similar.

Excellent analytical communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Good-to-Have

Mobile Device Testing: Hands-on testing experience with Android iOS tablets and iPads.

Accessibility Testing: Experience testing for accessibility compliance on mobile and desktop platforms including the use of screen readers such as NVDA.

Automation: Exposure to test automation using Selenium WebDriver including writing and maintaining scripts.

Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman RestAssured).

Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Participate in the design development testing deployment and production support. Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues in a complex regulated environment. Collaborate with architecture QA and operations teams to ensure platform stability scalability and performance. Support modernization initiatives and enhancements to existing payment hub capabilities. Produce clear technical documentation and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
