Job Title: Python Java Developer

Location: Montreal QC
Duration: 6 Months
Employment Type: Contract
Work Arrangement: Onsite preferred (5 days/week); hybrid option available (3 days onsite 2 days remote)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Python Java Developer to support the development of data-driven and machine learning-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python as a primary programming language along with working knowledge of Java and experience in building scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain applications using Python and Java
• Build and support machine learning models and data-driven solutions
• Work with databases and data platforms including Snowflake
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and backend services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver technical solutions
• Ensure code quality performance and scalability of applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development environments
• Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in Python (primary programming language)
• Working knowledge of Java
• Experience with Machine Learning concepts and implementation
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and database systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agentic AI or similar advanced AI frameworks
• Willingness and aptitude to learn emerging AI technologies
• Familiarity with modern data engineering and cloud platforms
