Python Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with 8 years of experience to design develop and maintain high-performance backend systems automated workflows and data processing this role you will evaluate existing application architectures and implement scalable cloud solutions that support our enterprise data strategies.

Contract Details

Key Responsibilities

• Backend & API Development: Design build and maintain robust scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs and backend services using frameworks such as FastAPI Flask or Django.
  
• Data Engineering & Automation: Architect complex data processing pipelines data transformation layers and automation scripts to optimize large-scale data workflows and system performance.
  
• Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy manage and optimize cloud-native solutions leveraging modern AWS serverless and containerized environments.
  
• DevOps & Quality Engineering: Build and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines manage infrastructure as code and enforce automated testing practices to ensure code quality and system reliability.
  
• AI & Engineering Practices: Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate feature implementation while enforcing strict security performance and code quality standards.
  

Required Technical Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience with a heavy focus on enterprise-grade Python application development.
  
• Frameworks & Languages: Mastery of Python asynchronous programming and deep experience working with modern frameworks like FastAPI Django or Flask.
  
• Modern Data & AI Stack: Hands-on experience with advanced data processing libraries (Pandas NumPy Polars) vector databases or integrating LLM/Generative AI APIs (OpenAI Anthropic LangChain).
  
• Cloud Infrastructure: Strong hands-on proficiency with AWS ecosystems including AWS Lambda ECS/EKS S3 RDS IAM and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CDK).
  
• DevOps & Tooling: Thorough understanding of modern CI/CD orchestration (GitHub Actions GitLab CI/CD) containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and secure credential management.
  
• Development Accelerators: Familiarity with AI pair-programming tools (GitHub Copilot Cursor) to maximize delivery efficiency.
