We are looking for a Senior Protection & Control Team Lead

This role will be based in Vancouver BC.

Your role

As a member of Transmission Distribution and Renewables team you will:

• Lead mentor coach guide and supervise a team of junior P&C engineers.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to deliver projects.
• Assist in development of technical processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Assist in preparation of proposals.
• Prepare Protection & Control designs from conceptual to implementation stage for Transmission Distribution and Generating stations.
• Program Protection & Control devices.
• Work on reports and calculations and perform site visits.

About you

• Holds a bachelors degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and has 15-20 years of previous protection & control design work experience in T&D and or Generation sector.
• Has taken courses in Protection & Control at a University level or equivalent.
• Experience with AutoCAD and PLC programming is an asset.
• Is registered as a Professional Engineer with EGBC.
• Demonstrated excellent written and oral English communication skills and good work ethic.

Additional information

Expected compensation for this role is between $125000 - $171900 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills experience and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
