Project Manager / Environmental Engineer North of 60 Monitoring

Were looking for a Project Manager / Environmental Engineer to support environmental monitoring assessment and remediation projects across Western and Northern Canada. This role is ideal for an environmental professional with experience managing or coordinating smaller-scale projects who is looking to continue building their project management and technical experience in a safety focused team-oriented environment.

What Youll Do

  • Coordinate environmental projects from planning through completion including schedules budgets reporting and project documentation
  • Support environmental monitoring remediation and sampling programs in both office and field settings
  • Work closely with clients regulators subcontractors and field crews to support safe and successful project delivery
  • Assist with proposals cost estimates work plans and project tracking
  • Participate in and oversee field activities including site inspections environmental sampling and compliance monitoring
  • Promote safe work practices and support strong communication across project teams

Who You Are

  • 35 years of experience in environmental consulting remediation monitoring reclamation or related project work
  • Experience coordinating or managing smaller-scale environmental projects
  • Degree in Environmental Engineering Environmental Science Geoscience or a related discipline
  • Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working independently in the field and collaboratively within project teams
  • Professional designation such as . . . RPBio. or equivalent is considered a strong asset

What You Need

  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently to remote project sites across the North
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to perform physically demanding field work in varying outdoor conditions
  • First Aid and WHMIS/TDG certifications (or willingness to complete training provided by KBL)
