Project Manager / Scrum Master - Banking Domain

Location: Toronto ON (Hybrid 4 days WFO)

Role Summary

The Project Manager / Scrum Master is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of projects ensuring successful execution within scope timeline and budget. The role involves managing cross-functional teams facilitating Agile ceremonies driving delivery governance and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution
Define project scope objectives deliverables and success criteria.
Develop detailed project plans schedules and budgets.
Ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
2. Delivery Leadership
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across business and technology.
Track project progress and adjust plans as required.
Ensure adherence to delivery governance and quality standards.
3. Risk & Issue Management
Identify assess and mitigate project risks and issues.
Manage dependencies and escalate when required.
Handle change requests and control scope creep.
4. Stakeholder Management
Manage stakeholder expectations and communications.
Provide regular status updates milestones and financial reporting to leadership.
Ensure alignment between business and technical teams.
5. Agile / Scrum Delivery
Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups sprint planning reviews retrospectives).
Support Agile Waterfall or Hybrid delivery environments.
Ensure effective use of Agile tools and practices.
6. Project Closure
Ensure successful project closure and handover.
Conduct post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned.

Required Skills & Experience

10 years of experience in Project Management / Program Delivery.
Strong experience managing large-scale enterprise projects.
Experience with Agile Scrum Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with tools such as:
JIRA
MS Project
Asana
Smartsheet



Required Skills:

Scala
