Project Engineer

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Project Engineer on a permanent basis in our Major Projects team.

This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina SK.

We are looking for a motivated Professional Engineer who enjoys leading complex engineering projects and working collaboratively across disciplines. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise to major capital projects while helping deliver safe efficient and sustainable solutions that support our business and communities.

What youll do:

• Coordinate and support engineering procurement and construction activities for major capital projects including the preparation of technical reports specifications designs and project documentation required to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinate with project teams contractors consultants and stakeholders to deliver projects safely on schedule within budget and in accordance with quality standards.
• Provide technical expertise recommendations and engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements industry standards and engineering best practices.
• Support project approvals scope development planning and execution activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical team members to support project success and professional development.
• Promote a culture of safety by ensuring all work is completed in accordance with applicable safety regulations policies and procedures.

The Team: You will work closely with a team of Project Managers Engineers Coordinators and technical professionals within the Major Projects group. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration accountability continuous improvement and safety.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Health Safety Security & Environment (HSSE) & Sustainability and:

• Have 4 years of engineering experience in project industrial infrastructure energy or related environments.
• Have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
• Are registered as a Professional Engineer (.) or eligible for registration.
• Have experience managing engineering deliverables coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting capital project execution.
• Having a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation would be an asset
