Project Coordinator, Road Building

Job Summary
This is a site based rotational role and is ideal for someone with foundational project coordination experience who is eager to grow collaborate and contribute to successful project this position youll gaining handson exposure to project management responsibilities and the full lifecycle of a major roadbuilding project.

Work Conditions:
Site-based rotation: 10 days on / 4 days off 12 hour days
Duration: Immediate to October 2027
Locations: Hwy 63 (North of Fort McMurray)
Camp provided in Fort McMurray
Vehicle: Full-time use of company truck and fuel card
Must be willing to work the full project term and act as cross-shift with the PM; reachable when required
Key Responsibilities:
Manage subcontractors support meetings agreements and project oversight
Execute project controls: scheduling (P6) progress tracking quantities productivity and reporting
Support contract management including RFIs change tracking documentation and identifying risks/opportunities
Coordinate surveying activities and assist with cost coding invoicing accruals and forecasting
Collaborate daily with safety consultants subcontractors and the project team
Qualifications:
3 years of roadbuilding infrastructure and/or bridge construction experience is highly regarded
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience)
Project controls subcontractor management and reporting is essential
Technical proficiency in Primavera P6 InEight SharePoint Bluebeam and Excel
Ability to work independently in a small fast-paced team; strong problem-solving and communication skills
Must be comfortable driving a company truck on active construction sites
Valid class 5 license with a clear drivers abstract
Must be able to pass Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
