Reporting to the Project Manager the Project Coordinator - Estimating will primarily support the estimating and pre-construction functions of the business while also assisting with project coordination activities throughout project execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing tender documents performing quantity take-offs obtaining vendor and subcontractor pricing preparing bid submissions supporting change order pricing and assisting with project planning procurement scheduling and stakeholder coordination.

What Youll Do Here

Estimating & Pre-Construction (Primary Focus)

• Review tender documents drawings specifications and contract requirements
• Perform quantity take-offs and develop cost estimates
• Obtain evaluate and coordinate vendor and subcontractor quotations
• Assist in preparing and submitting bids proposals and tender packages
• Support budget development cost forecasting and estimate tracking
• Prepare pricing for change notices change orders and extra work requests
• Participate in bid review and project handover meetings

Project Coordination & Construction Support

• Assist Project Managers with project execution and coordination activities
• Maintain project documentation trackers RFIs and drawing control logs
• Coordinate procurement activities and purchase requisitions
• Assist with project scheduling progress tracking and reporting
• Coordinate with clients vendors subcontractors and internal stakeholders
• Attend project meetings prepare meeting minutes and follow up on action items
• Support project closeout documentation including O&M manuals and quality records

What You Bring to the Team

• Technical diploma engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating project coordination or a related construction role
• Experience reviewing drawings specifications and tender documents
• Strong understanding of estimating cost control forecasting and change management
• Knowledge of utility electrical civil or industrial construction projects is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and Project; SAP and estimating software experience are assets
• Strong organizational analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Be a champion of inclusion and diversity
• Any knowledge/ experience on Estimating Softwares but not required.

Salary Range: $58000 - $70000

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location education experience and unique skills.
