- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Support the preparation and analysis of cost reports forecasts and variance analyses.
- Help maintain project documentation including change orders progress reports and risk registers.
- Assist in tracking project budgets and expenditures.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and status updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering procurement and finance.
- Perform data entry organization and visualization using Excel Power BI or similar tools.
- Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management Business or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with project management tools is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare concise executive summaries variance narratives and stakeholder presentations.
- Results-oriented detail-focused and able to manage multiple priorities reporting cycles and stakeholder expectations under tight timelines.
- Commitment to teamwork mentoring knowledge transfer and developing planning capability across the project controls organization.
- Coursework or previous experience in project management or project controls.
- Familiarity with scheduling software (Primavera P6 MS Project) and/or cost tracking tools.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles is an asset.
