Why Your Role Matters
As the Program Director LMS (Learning Management System) you will provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the implementation of a new LMS solution at UNSW. This position is accountable for ensuring the program supports the universitys strategicobjectivesand advances teaching and learning excellence.
As the Program Director LMS you willbe responsible fordeliveringmeaningful improvements across the LMS enhancing usabilityaccessibility and the overall user experience for both students and LMSwill play a key part in shaping a more engaging and connected student learning experience. The role will lead the end-to-end program and associated projects proactively manage risks and deliver successful outcomes through strong stakeholder engagement collaboration and effective change management.

You will be an experienced program leader with the ability to drive large-scale complex initiatives in a dynamic environment bringing together diverse teams stakeholders and external partners to deliver meaningful outcomes. With strong commercial and financial acumen you are confident managing budgets risks vendors and competing priorities whilemaintaininga clear focus on delivering business value and educational benefits.
More specifically you will need:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent with substantial experience in the education technology sector with demonstrable experience supporting large-scale learning management system (LMS) initiatives.
- Extensive experience as a Program Director or equivalent overseeing complex transformation projects within higher education or similar environments particularly in implementing LMS change solutions.
- Demonstratedexpertisein program governance withsignificant experienceapplying a variety of project management methodologies and tools to successfully deliver programs of work that drive clear benefits.
- Outstanding written communication abilities with a proventrack recordin developing and delivering clear and persuasive presentations for executive audiences and producing high-quality documentation reports and proposals with actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead motivate and collaborate with large cross-functional teams including both staff and strategic partners to achieve keyobjectives.
