Job Summary
The client wants a senior telecom specialist not a generalist program manager discovering the field. The person reports to a client program director already in place and works alongside the infrastructure stream lead. They lead a team of four internal and external project managers and build the telecom integration master plan with Bell and other partners. The core challenge is migrating hundreds of services each requiring telecom changes which explains the emphasis on large-scale production deployments and composure under pressure. The migration phase starts at the planned end of the mandate which points to a likely extension.
Target candidate: a program director with a telecom background who has delivered large-scale production deployments while leading several project managers ideally in a data centre or large-scale service migration context. The resume must show telecom depth vendor and partner coordination and program scale.
